The Children at the Orphanage

"Thank you again, Brother, and as to the question that you asked, the children receive one meal per day since we do not have enough food for two. For the year 2006 we have four bags of maize, three bags of beans, and five bags of rice, which I believe with last for two months." I Remain Sincerely Yours, Francis Ouma Ooko  

Photo Taken May 2007: The most recent photo of the our 282 children. The next photo we take will focus on having the children be in multiple rows so that the picture will be as high as wide so that we can see more of them than only  the tops of their heads.

Photo Taken January 2006: Please notice their new uniforms. The girls have blue jumpers with white blouses and the boys have white shirts and blue trousers. They are so proud of their new uniforms. The uniforms may seem "expensive" but they are the least expensive way we can clothe our 92 children.
